Due to the rapidly changing situation surrounding Coronavirus and with the priority of our guest’s and staff’s health in mind we have taken the tough decision to close the park today 20th March. We will look at this stage to re-open on the 1st May.

This date is subject to change depending on how the situation develops. We know how disappointing this will be for all those guests who are booked to stay with us during this closure period.

We will be contacting all guests within the next 24 hours who have a holiday booked with us during this period.

Guests who have booked a holiday beyond this 1st of May will, of course, be contacted ahead of time and updated with whatever position we find ourselves in.

We have now amended our cancellation scheme terms & conditions, to include the Pandemic as a reason to cancel and as a gesture of goodwill not raised a charge in reflection of this additional cover for customers already in the scheme.

All bookings that have taken out our cancellation cover will be offered a full refund minus the insurance fee or an option to amend dates during the 2020 season.

Any bookings that have opted out of our cancellation scheme, hopefully, have made their own insurance arrangements, in this situation we will provide any detail that they may require to complete their claims.

As a gesture of goodwill, we are offering customers who have opted out of our cancellation scheme the opportunity to move their bookings to a later date in the 2020 season once we are able to open.

With regard to these booking changes, in all cases, they will be subject to price difference, that could lead to additional cost or possible refund depending on the chosen period’s tariff differential. We will also as a further measure of goodwill waive any amendment fee on a one-time basis for bookings taken up until today 20th of March.

Our Bookings Team are extremely busy with calls and emails at this time. We thank you for patience whilst we respond to messages and assist guests with their holiday plans.

We hope that you all stay safe, and look forward to seeing you all later in the year.

Best wishes

Robert May.
